Villa Victoire has an original L-shaped design and is glass-fronted on the south side, which affords you with magnificent views of the Sainte Victoire mountain range. This contemporary, single-storey house stands out as an exceptional holiday home at the gates of Aix en Provence.

Enter via the living room and dining area, which includes a dining table with extension, a comfortable bench, armchairs, coffee table, and a suspended fireplace. An overhead projector-style television is connected to Apple TV and Netflix. The house is equipped with other modern features, such as Sonos system and Bose speakers.

The American-style kitchen is open to the living area. It is equipped with a dishwasher, 5-burner gas stove, Nespresso machine, US refrigerator, oven and microwave. A Separate laundry room has a washing machine, dryer, fridge / freezer and storage. There is also an office with a convertible sofa and semi-blackout blinds.

The villa is glass-fronted across its entire length and does not have shutters. It has automated blinds that allow light to be filtered. For people sensitive to light, you should know that this system does not allow complete concealment of rooms, especially bedrooms.

Sweet dreams

The first sleeping area has a master bedroom with a king-size bed (180 x 200cam). It has a bathroom with a bathtub, walk-in shower, double basin and a separate WC. There is also a shower room with WC.

Access to the second sleeping area is from the kitchen. Here you’ll find an informal lounge with flat-screen TV and leather sofas. There is also a fun play area with a groundsheet and plenty of games.

There are three bedrooms here that are perfect for children, all with single beds (90 x 190cm) and cupboards. The first of these has two beds (one on a mezzanine), and is served by a shower room. The second bedroom has a single bed with additional pull-out bed below. The third child’s bedroom has a fun bed with small “play house” suspended above it, and is served by a shower room with double basin.

In the additional double bedroom, which has a king-size bed (180 x 200cm) an ornate 18th century mirror dominates and compliments the modern furniture and stunning view through the panoramic picture windows.It has its own shower room with double basins and a separate WC.

It’s all about the outside

The property’s outdoor space offers privacy and a special atmosphere in the evening under the plane tree. Set on 4200 m² it is unfenced and has a south-eastern exposure.

There is a private swimming pool (12.5 x 5m, depth: 0.9-1.6m), secured by an automatic cover, that is heated by heat pump. Laze under the tree around the pool on sun loungers and garden furniture. A fun feature is the outdoor bathroom which has a marble bathtub and a shower in a sublime setting.

A pétanque court, outdoor games for children, a “wendy house”, swing and table tennis provide ample variety of activities for the children while the adults enjoy a rosé on the terrace. The terrace is made of teak and is the hub for a Weber gas grill, designer chairs, coffee table and beautiful views of the Sainte Victoire. Outdoor dining is a must. The table seats 10 and there are more tables and chairs available if needed.

There is private parking in front of the house, 2 outdoor spaces and 2 parking spaces in the garage.

Located for exploring

The house is located just outside Tholonet, 10 minutes from the centre of Aix en Provence. Le Tholonet is an ideal starting point for exploring blue Provence and green Provence. A 25-minute journey connects the creeks of Cassis and the Mediterranean. Many hiking trails near the property which allow you to hike on the magnificent massif of Sainte Victoire
