Villa Champeau is a delightful modern holiday villa that offers a lovely setting and benefits from an excellent location, easy access to the picturesque villages of the Luberon, to the superb city of Aix en Provence, to the calanques, the Alpilles, etc. no doubt it is one of the best locations for exploring the beauties of Provence.

The house is about 4km from the centre of Mérindol, in the direction of Cavaillon in the Vaucluse. The property is set in a quiet, residential area at the foot of the Petit Luberon in the Luberon National Park, close to the Pont Royal International Golf Course, halfway between Avignon and Aix-en-Provence.

Description of the house

Through the entrance hall and the library area, a few steps lead up to the living room. Here you’ll find a fireplace, large corner sofa, flat-screen TV, plus a large sliding bay window giving direct access to the garden and the lovely, comfortably furnished terrace.

A fully equipped kitchen comes fitted with a ceramic hob, sink, fridge, oven, microwave, US fridge, bar with high stools, and a dining table with seating for 6/8 people. A bluetooth audio system is also available.

The laundry room has a washing machine, tumble dryer, and sinks. A separate WC on this floor is convenient for you and your day visitors.

Villa Champeau is a bungalow-style property set over a single level, so all bedrooms are on the ground floor.

There is a family bathroom with shower, bath, double washbasin, hairdryer, towel rail, and integrated WC. There are two separate shower rooms, each with a washbasin.

Relaxing outside

There’s direct access from the kitchen to the terrace and swimming pool. The covered terrace is very pleasant for relaxing, offering an open view over the landscaped garden, with comfortable garden furniture. This generous enclosed property spans 6000m2 with a variety of trees and well-kept landscaping.

The swimming pool is 10.5m x 5.5m, and is secured with an automatic cover. Relax poolside in one of the 6 sun chairs.

Secure parking can be found to the front of the house, and you’ll find two sheltered spaces under the terrace.

More about Merindol

Mérindol is a pretty Provencal village located between Avignon and Aix-en-Provence, close to typical Provencal villages such as Lourmarin, Cucuron and Vaugines, as well as hilltop villages such as Gordes, Roussillon, Ménerbes and Bonnieux. You’ll find all the shops and a few restaurants. Motorway access is just 10 minutes away.

Ideally located 30 minutes from the centre of Aix en Provence, 45 minutes from Avignon TGV station and 45 minutes from Marseille Provence airport. Close to La Roque d’Anthéron, which hosts an internationally renowned piano festival every year, and 40 minutes from Marseille’s calanques. The Pont Royal 18-hole golf course is 15 minutes away.
